Demonstrations, displays and information.
Vendors will offer products made from our
forests, talk about the natural challenges
we face from invasive species and insect
infestations and the benefits of a healthy
well-managed forest.
Featured exhibits:
“Maple Memories,” early implements of maple
syrup and sugar production in the Catskills;
and “The Civilian Conservation Corps,”
interpretive exhibit on the Depression-era
program that put young men to work
developing parks and trails in the Catskills
and around the nation. These exhibits are
offered by the Middletown Historical
Society.
This
NEW program area is
sponsored by The Catskill Forest Association
with funding from the Watershed Agricultural
Council's Forestry Program.

Wellness Committee of the Margaretville
Hospital Auxiliary this

will feature regional and local
organizations who provide activities,
educational programs and related information
on wellness.

and delight with two magic shows and tricks
throughout the day. |

Cooking Demonstrations |

Coordinated by Jessica Backus-foster,
Chef/Instructor at SUNY Delhi's Award
Winning Hospitality Management program and
graduate of Johnson and Wales University.
Guess chefs assisted by SUNY students will
prepare dishes using locally grown food
items including: grass fed beef,
cauliflower, potatoes, apples and maple
sugar. A taste of the dishes prepared will
be offered. |

2nd Annual Tractor Parade |

Grand Marshall Town of Middletown Supervisor
and farmer Len Utter will lead the parade of
old, antique and new tractors from the Davis
Farm along Route 30 into the Festival
grounds. Tractors will be on display during
the day. |

Schoharie Valley
Cloggers |
|
The Schoharie Valley Cloggers managed by
Gordy Stahl will be stepping high on the
stage when this colorfully-attired troupe
performs their well-choreographed dances to
tradition and country music. |
